By November 10th, with 100% of precincts reporting, the final tally on the first count showed McDonnell winning by 904 votes out of 1,941,651 cast. That's a difference of .05% -- not five percent, but one-twentieth of one percent. That's how close we are to turning this whole thing around in even more dramatic fashion next year, building on 2005's major gains and the impressive Democratic showing with a 2006 that could -- could -- be something special. Every vote counts, and every dollar counts.
